Garry Loseby

As the principal of Australian Migration Specialists, and an Australian Registered MigrationAgent (no. 9803463), Garry has overall responsibility for ensuring that the office is kept up to date with changes in Australia's migration policy / regulations. This responsibility also extends to ensuring that all migration applications submitted to The Department of Immigration and Citizenship meet the relevant requirements for each visa category.

More specifically, Garry is involved in the preparation of all business related migration applications.

As the "Aussie" in the team, Garry is the link between South Africa and Australia in terms of the client's needs for information/contacts in his home country.

Having spent the majority of his time in South Africa since mid 1997, Garry has a good knowledge of the similarities / differences in being in both South Africa and Australia.

Garry has been involved in the business advisory and migration consulting field since 1984 when, as a senior partner of International Business Ventures Pty Ltd. (IBV), he established a network of associated offices throughout Asia and Europe assisting business people move to Australia under the Business Migration Program (BMP).

Since that time he has become a leading figure on migration consulting to Australia and was one of the first consultants to gain registration (No. 004) in the late 1980’s under the then Australian Governments’ Business Migration Accreditation Scheme. He holds current registration with that Governments’ Migration Agents Registration Board as a Migration Agent (No 9803463).

Garry was the inaugural President of the Queensland branch of the Australian Migration Consultants Association (now the Migration Institute of Australia) and a member of its National Committee.

Garry has qualifications in both applied science (B App Sc) and business (MBA) with part of the coursework for the latter completed at the London Business School, where he also undertook a thesis on the success of incentives in attracting investment to different regional areas in Europe.

Before becoming involved in the migration consulting field Garry had first worked as an industrial chemist in both Australia and the UK and after as an industry promotion officer with the Queensland Government in Brisbane, Sydney and London.

Through his business studies and experience, Garry has also gained expertise in the location and analysis of business opportunities throughout Australia on behalf of international clients, a skill strengthened by his network of business and government contacts throughout the country.

With offices in Johannesburg and Durban, Australian Migration Specialists is able to offer the full range of relocation consulting services to those people looking to make Australia their new home, in addition to business advice to corporate clients searching for partners / acquisitions in Australia.

Tracey Lawrence

Tracey was "born" to be a skilled migration consultant. At Australian Migration Specialists we believe in the need to enjoy what you do and Tracey typifies this philosophy

More likely than not Tracey will assess your eligibility and prepare the migration application if your category of migration falls under the skilled visa class, and various other visa categories such as spouse, parent, employer nomination etc.

Tracey joined Australian Migration Specialists in November 2000 and has been working tirelessy since then to ensure that clients are given the correct advise and ensuring a successful outcome of their immigration application.

In June of 2008 Tracey became a partner in the business so has a vested interest in ensuring your receive complete customer satisfaction

Michelle Oztas

Michelle joined the Australian Migration Team in August 2010 to play a support role for Tracey. Michelle has over 5 years experience in the Australian Migration Industry and as such is extremely well placed to assist clients with queries and to assist in the preparation of general skilled migration visas.

She is a welcome addition to the team!

Janeke Rout

As the Manager of our Durban office, Janeke has to be multi-skilled. She provides our Kwazulu Natal clients with advice on most aspects of Australian Migration Specialists' range of services in addition to her management function.

Reception

While the receptionists we use at our business are not stricly employed by us, they do serve as an integral part of our team. Sindi and Veronica have worked alongside us for many years, and the first voice you will hear when phoning AMS will be one of theirs. Whilst they are not qualified to provide migration assistance in any form, they are always available to take message, receive documents and deliver documents if Garry or Tracey are not available. They hold all information in the strictest confidence
